Omnidirectional Rolling Bot (ORB)

This will be a spherical robotic platform with FPV (first-person view) capabilities intended for search-and-rescue operations and hazardous environment exploration. The robot would use an internally stabilized drive system to maneuver through rough terrain while protecting sensitive electronics within its enclosed shell. We want to design it with custom PCBs, onboard sensors, wireless communication, and live video streaming. Our Omnidirectional Rolling Bot (ORB) aims to provide safe remote inspection of areas that may be dangerous or inaccessible to humans.
