Delta, 6DoF, Hall effect Design Mouse

A design mouse that more properly translates user intent

Built by Boundless

A space standard mouse uses 3 degrees of freedom (DoF) to allow input to your screen, this typically translates to X, Y translation and Zoom when using design software. My 6DoF input device will utilize a 3d printed flexture lattice to allow suspended movement. This will be full X,Y,Z translation, as well as Roll, Pitch, Yaw rotations. These types of input devices exist but typically cost $150+, as well as being of patented design. This leaves no room for competition. With the advent of accessible 3d printers, and hall effect sensors (magnetic field sensors) this is possible. Currently I have done some sketches, started planning and designing. I hope to start printing and building this week. I will update shortly.
